Unique sand dune – Singing barchan

When travelling in the desert, be extremely careful and observe safety measures: Poisonous snakes, desert insects (ticks, scorpions, tarantulas) are dangerous. Burrows are inhabited by animals that can carry various diseases dangerous to humans.
Stay away from thickets, burrows, cracks in the ground. Do not touch lizards, rodents. Take with you for a desert excursion: Enough water to avoid dehydration, a small supply of food. Spray or cream to protect against ticks and blood-sucking insects. Personal hygiene products, wet antibacterial wipes. A personal first aid kit with sunscreen. A charged phone or smartphone. Rubbish bags as required by ecotourism regulations. Dress for the excursion in comfortable hiking clothes - trousers and a long-sleeved shirt.
Protect yourself from the sun with a hat and sunglasses. Wear trekking shoes, they have soles with good traction. When climbing the barchan, you can take off your shoes if the sand is not very hot, or wear replacement shoes, from which it is easy to shake out the sand. Even in the warm season take a windbreaker with you, remember that the desert is very dusty. When it is cold, wear warm hiking clothes and thermal underwear.

There are several guesthouses in the National Park and in the village of Basshi. There you will be provided not only accommodation, but also meals. There are also bivouac meadows for tent camps in the park.
