Each year, Zhetysu’s tourism potential attracts increasing international attention. A vivid example of this is the recent visit by the first tourist groups from Italy, who explored the Altyn-Emel National Park from May 26 to 28, 2025. Their visit became a reality thanks to collaboration with leading Italian tour operators — Mistral and Ten Viaggi.

This milestone is a direct result of the “Altyn-Emel” info tour, organized by Visit Zhetysu (@visitzhetysu) in August 2024. During the tour, foreign tour operators were given a comprehensive overview of the national park’s natural attractions, infrastructure, and tourism potential.

This initiative is already bearing fruit, as international interest in the region is growing rapidly.
