From January to September, the city of Taldykorgan welcomed approximately 60,000 tourists.
Tourism in our country is developing at a remarkable pace every year. In recent years, the number of tourists visiting Kazakhstan from both neighboring and distant countries, as well as from various regions of the country, has been steadily increasing.
In this regard, special attention is being paid to the tourism sector in the Zhetysu region. Systematic efforts are being made to renovate and improve the infrastructure of popular destinations.
Taldykorgan also boasts several unique attractions that draw tourists. Notable sites include the “Kyzyltas-Tasbaka” petroglyphs, the I. Zhansugurov Museum, the M. Tynyshbaev Historical and Local History Museum, and the city’s scenic landmarks.
It is worth recalling that Taldykorgan is one of the cities located at the crossroads of major transport routes. Every traveler visiting the Zhetysu region typically passes through this city. Thanks to this, in the period from January to September of this year, the city welcomed approximately 60,000 tourists, including 1,285 international visitors.
Notably, over the past 9 months, tourism services provided amounted to 713.4 million tenge.
