Children’s Music School named after N. Tlendiev

Children’s Music School named after Nurgisa Tlendiev is a musical educational institution, where school-age children in their free time from lessons in general education schools additionally receive elementary musical knowledge and skills. The music school is located in the center of the city. In 2002 the music school was given the name of Nurgisa Tlendiev, the national figure of Kazakhstan, who was awarded the title of a famous composer, conductor, dombrist and teacher.

The purpose of the music school is to implement additional educational services in the field of music education, creating conditions for introducing children to musical creativity, learning to play an instrument, development of musical hearing, self-realization and professional self-determination.

The main task is not just to teach music, but also to influence through music the spiritual world of students, the formation of their moral character.
