Monument “Battle of Orbulak”
The “Uli Jebe” memorial complex was opened in the Zhetisu region of Zharkent in honor of the 375th anniversary of the Battle of Orbulak.
“Orbulak battle is one of the most important historical events on the way to freedom of the Kazakh people.
The authors of the memorial complex are Gaziz Eshkenov and Aidar Zhamkhan, members of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, and Aydyn Zhailaubaev, sculptor-architect.
The memorial complex includes a bas-relief with the image of batyrs and an arrow pointing upwards. The height of the stele is 16 meters, the height of the bas-relief is 6.5 meters and the width is 26 meters.
The memorial complex “Uli Jebe” is made of white marble, granite and bronze.
Orbulak battle – a battle during the Kazakh-Dzungar war, in which the Kazakhs led by Zhangir Khan and Zhalantos-batyr in 1643 defeated the army of Erdeni-Batur.
