Construction of the sports facility began in March 2019. The opening of the Olympic-type central swimming pool with 570 seats took place on July 6, 2021.

The first 50-meter Olympic swimming pool in the region was built as part of a public-private partnership. The new facility meets all international standards, and therefore it will be able to hold competitions of the highest level.

A modern swimming pool has no analogues in Central Asia. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it meets Olympic standards. Another feature is the external architectural appearance, resembling the silhouette of a huge fish swimming in the depths of the sea. It has three pools, the length of the largest of which is 52 meters, the width is 25 meters. The launch of such a large-scale and significant object has become the hallmark of the entire region.

Here you can practice all kinds of swimming, water polo, diving, water aerobics. The pool is designed for year-round sports competitions of various levels, as well as for recreational swimming of citizens, teaching children. Conditions have been created for low-mobility categories of citizens.
