The eternal flame

The Obelisk of Glory is installed in the central park of culture and recreation in memory of the warriors of Taldykorgan and the soldiers who died in Afghanistan. At the foot of the monument, the Eternal Flame is installed, reminding of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, many of whom were not destined to return to their hometown. The Eternal Flame, the Obelisk of Glory, and the entire surrounding area are under special control. Commemorative days are regularly held here, when citizens come to lay flowers in honor of the defenders of their native land.
