Tourist event “My Tekeli”, held on August 23-24, was organized for representatives of Kazakhstani tour operators, media, travel-bloggers, mobilographers and videographers. The purpose of this event was to popularize tourist objects of Tekeli town, Eskelda district and picturesque recreation area Cherkasai, contributing to the development of active mountain tourism in Zhetysu region. Within the framework of “My Tekeli” discussions with representatives of the tourism business on the prospects for the development of the industry were held, and a variety of activities were offered: accommodation in a tent city, exciting contests and entertainment programs, including sports games, quizzes about local nature and culture. Participants could enjoy hiking, visiting the Teply waterfall, bungee jumping, open-air movie screenings, singing around the campfire, stargazing and cultural activities that helped to unite the team and find harmony with nature.
